Tyler Hyatt, Ciley Castillo and the whole staff was awesome and how you are treated from start to finish and beyond was MORE than expected. I cannot express the service we had with them on losing our Son CJ, they were so caring, polite and was always making sure we had or needed anything. If I could rate them with a 10 star rating, we would. In our time of sorrow they made our loss of our son way beyond measure. I will always use Powell Funeral Home.

During the passing of my Dad in September 2017, the entire staff went above and beyond to help our family. When James and Ciley came to my Mom's home they were so respectful of my Dad. They placed a quilted blanket which was such a personal touch to help with such a hard experience. Tyler was such a great help to our family before and after the funeral. I believe you will never find a greater group of people to help during your time of grief and treat you like family at the same time.

I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of local establishments that I would take the initiative to recommend to others, and Powell is without doubt on that very short list. My family and I have an entirely positive impression of the facility and the way the people go about the business. Specifically, we were without exception greeted hospitably and with an obvious willingness to answer any questions. Members of our family visited Powell approximately six times. Each staff member, without exception (even where we cannot remember names) was patient and helpful. One of the several tremendous assets to the establishment is Brooks, whose absolutely excellent demeanor is combined with rare efficiency and capability in office logistics and processes. It is difficult to imagine how any one could do her job any better. Tyler and Barry and Dale were great, as well. We probably spent the most time with Dale, and he manifest both knowledge and a strong ability to gauge our needs and personalities. January 10, 2018
