Payment Policy

Bradford Memorial Payment Options, Pricing Policies and Disclosures

Our funeral home is a small locally owned business. We do not have sufficient financial resources to extend credit over a period of months. Therefore, at the end of the arrangement conference, you will be presented with a contract itemizing the goods and services that you requested. Payment is expected in full and due at least 24 hours prior to services rendered. For your convenience the following payment methods are excepted. 

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Credit Card  – We accept all major credit cards. If you choose to pay with a credit card, a charge of 3% will be added to the total balance being charged.
  • Assignable Life Insurance Policies –You can choose to use a life insurance policy if you prefer.  The insurance policy must be given to the funeral director for verification. We do not accept insurance policies that cannot be verified. Insurance policies under 2 years old are usually contestable and therefore can’t be used as a form of payment. Do not hesitate to call our funeral directors with any questions.
  • Prearranged Funeral Plans - We accept prearranged (Prepaid Funeral Plans purchased before death) that was written through our funeral home. We will also honor prearranged funeral plans that were written at another funeral home as long as they are transferable.  If you would like to use a prearranged funeral plan as a form of payment that was written at another funeral home, please contact one of our funeral directors.
