Kenneth Edward “Kenny” Steele, 74, of Bald Knob, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born July 4, 1944 in Bradford, Arkansas, a son of the late George Washington and Wilma Georgia (Piker) Steele. Kenny was an accomplished Brick Mason. He was a very family-oriented man. Kenny loved the Lord. He loved his family, especially his children, grandchildren, his siblings, and his dog Oscar. Kenny had an awesome sense of humor and was one of funniest men alive. He loved to cook; and made some of the best chicken & dumplings around. Kenny enjoyed singing, hunting, fishing, gardening, and tinkering outdoors. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Wilma Georgia (Piker) Steele; two sons, Kenneth Dewayne Steele and David Steele; and one brother, William “Bill” Steele. Kenny is survived by his children, Danny (Tracye) Steele of McRae, Donny Steele of Bald Knob, and Lisa (Dan) Foltz of North Pole, Alaska; 16 grandchildren, Brad Jackson of Conway, Cassie Toth of North Pole, Alaska, Justin Foltz of North Pole, Alaska, Breanna Steele of Little Rock, Kayne Steele of Bald Knob, Brantley Steele of Bradford, Steven Sharp of Bald Knob, Roxie Sharp of Morrilton, Tonya Steele of McKinney, Texas, Arizona Stipes of Judsonia, Jessica Kimberling, Zachary Kimberling, Lauren Kimberling, and Jacob Kimberling all of Bradford, Nathan Trosper, and Hannah Trosper both of Bald Knob; seven great-grandchildren, Emily Jackson, Haley Jackson, Izabelle Jackson, Levy Toth, T.J. Toth, Lilah Foltz, and Jagger Stipes; 7 brothers, Wendell Steele of Hamburg, Larry Steele of Bald Knob, Devon Steele of Russiaville, Indiana, Carl Steele of Bald Knob, Marlin Steele of Bradford, Jack Steele of Kokomo, Indiana, and Bobby Steele of Russiaville, Indiana; 5 sisters, Mildred George of Reklaw, Texas, Jan Thomas of Searcy, Mary Bates of Malvern, Zelta Steele of Bald Knob, and Carole Fultz of Augusta; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, September 17, 2018 from 6-7 p.m. at the New Bethel General Baptist Church in Bald Knob with services beginning at 7:00 p.m. Jasper Fultz will be officiating the services.
