Kathy Diann (Moore) Horn, 67, of Bradford, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in Little Rock, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 12, 1955, in De Queen, Arkansas to the late Perry LaVern “Vern” and Audrey (Stovall) Moore. Kathy was raised in Bethel, Oklahoma. She graduated from Battiest High School in 1972 as valedictorian. She then attended cosmetology school and owned her own beauty shop. Kathy was baptized for the remission of her sins in 1977 and added by the Lord to the church of Christ. She married Ted A. Horn on April 14, 1978. Kathy was a member of the Bradford church of Christ. Kathy spent 40 years doing the work of a preacher’s wife, teaching others, visiting the sick, and setting a Christian example. She enjoyed yard sales and estate sales and collecting chickens. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Moore and Audrey (Stovall) Moore, of Bethel, Oklahoma; two sisters, Betty Savage, of Noble, Oklahoma, and Frances Cogburn, of Fancy Hill, Arkansas; and one nephew, David Cogburn. She is survived by her husband, Ted, of Bradford, Arkansas; her son, Daniel, of College Station, Texas; one sister, Hazel Barton, of Bethel, Oklahoma; five nieces and nephews; Tony Barton (Jessica); Tammy Branson (Randall); Becky Jackson (Jason); Renea Naron (Jon); Mike Savage (Felisha); and many great nieces and nephews A visitation is 1:30-2pm Sunday, February 27, 2022 with the funeral service following at 2 pm at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home in Bradford, Arkansas. A graveside service, followed by interment, will be 2pm Monday, February 28, 2022 at Bethel Cemetery in Bethel, Oklahoma.
