Juanita May Stewart Harris, 93, of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018, at White River Medical Center at Batesville, Arkansas. She was born on May 31,1924, at McHue, Arkansas to the late Franklin Pierce Stewart and Lena Hartline Stewart. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur (Ott) Denton Harris; her parents; four brothers and two sisters; two great-grandchildren, Tyler Lewis and Keely Moore, and her son-in-law, Larry Hoofman. She is survived by her four children, Denton (Diane) Harris of Denmark, Arkansas; Pat Hoofman of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; Phyllis (Ronnie) McCance of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas; and Connie (Ted) Banks of Brighton, Colorado; nine grandchildren, Farrell Harris, Robbie (Jeff) Moore, Shelly (Brandon) Duncan, Missy Fox, Sissy Ford, Clint (Crystal) McCance, Erin Rogers, Bradley Banks, and Bryan Banks; fourteen great-grandchildren, Derek (Katherine) Harris, Jessica Harris, Trevor Harris, Katelyn (Logan) Burch, Steven Moore, Ashlyn Moore, Keith Moore, Carlee Duncan, Courtney Cook, Taylor Ford, McKinley Fox, Chloe McCance, Chaney McCance, and Bailey Rogers; and two great-great grandchildren, Owen Harris and Sloan Harris. Juanita was a member of the Cornerstone United Methodist Church and served as treasurer for many years. She retired from Banquet Foods. Juanita was a dedicated Mother and Nan to all her children and grandchildren. She was loved by all. Her hobbies were word search puzzles, quilting, gardening, and mowing her yard. The pallbearers are Farrell Harris, Clint McCance, Bradley Banks, Derek Harris, Bryan Banks, Trevor Harris, and Taylor Ford. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Moore, Brandon Duncan, Nick Pierson, Dalton Robison, Logan Burch, and Tommy Ford. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Greg Neaville, Dr. Robert Baker, Dr. Philip Pack, and all the nurses and staff on the third-floor recuperative care unit of WRMC. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Pleasant Plains (Blackland Road). Services will begin immediately afterwards with Bro. James Wheeler, and Bro. Stephen Long officiating. Interment will follow at Putman Cemetery.
