Jone N. (Sexton) Cooper Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jone N. (Sexton) Cooper, 65, of Judsonia, Arkansas, departed this life July 8, 2017. She was born October 10, 1951 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Wilson and Ethel (Nichols) Sexton. Jone was an outloud, wide open, love me or hate me kind of woman. She loved in ways that not everyone understood. She wanted to take care of everyone and make things better for those that she loved. Jone's heart was broken when the other half to her whole became sick and left this world. She really just wanted to go with him but she knew God had more for her to do, and she did as much as she could for as many as she could for as long as she could. If Jone loved you, you can say that you have known true love. If Jone was your friend, you can say that you have known true friendship. Jone will be missed dearly by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Cooper; two brothers, Lynn Sexton and Kenneth Sexton; one nephew; and her parents, Wilson and Ethel (Nichols) Sexton. Left to cherish Jone's memory is one son, Travis Johnson of Judsonia; two grandchildren, Isaac Johnson and Dagan Johnson; one brother, Glenn (Shelia) Sexton of Bradford; one sister, Betty (Joe) Dillon of Judsonia; one sister-in-law, Norma Sexton of Bradford; two nieces, two nephews; many other family members and numerous friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Ed Higginbotham officiating and Charles Cooper assisting. Interment to follow at Heard Cemetery in Bradford, Arkansas. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Lester Pankey, Kenny Sexton, Roady Witcher, Timmy Snelson, Robert Evans, and CB Evans.
