Another Angel received his wings. Glenn “Biggen” Sexton received his wings Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 5:25 p.m. He was born August 20, 1946 in Bradford, Arkansas, a son of the late Wilson and Ethel (Nichols) Sexton. Biggen was a Concrete Mason. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Biggen had a heart of gold and was a very generous man. He would give the shirt off his back and the last dime he had if he thought you needed it. He always asked everyone that came to visit if they wanted anything to drink or eat. Biggen was a family man who loved his wife Sheila unconditionally. He loved and adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, rabbit hunting, and watching Gunsmoke, but more than anything he just loved being with his family. Biggen is survived by his wife, Sheila (Crowder) Sexton; his children, Kenny Sexton of Bradford, Autumn Bitner and husband Josh of Bradford, and Victoria McConnell and husband Daniel of Bald Knob; four grandchildren, Desiray Brady, Roady Witcher, Joey Gould, and Makayla Sexton; two great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Bradley Montgomery; one sister, Betty Dillin and husband Joe of Judsonia; several nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends. Biggen was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Ethel (Nichols) Sexton; two brothers, Kenneth “Pap” Sexton and Lynn “Littlen” Sexton; and sister, Joan Cooper. Glen “Biggen” Sexton, you Rest High on that Mountain and keep us that you left behind in line here on earth by the memories we all made and the things you taught us throughout the years. We love you. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Steven Sexton, Wesley Burruss, Eddie Stanhope, Carl Smith, Bobby Meachum, Eugene Webber, Dwight Duncan, Kenny Mitchell, and Greg Anselmi. Honorary pallbearers are Roady Witcher, Calvin Walker, Wayne McDougal, and Cecil Walker. Visitation will be held Friday, August 31, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bradford Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bradford Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Shane Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Heard Cemetery.
