Georgeann (Fisher) Mears, 68, of Diaz, departed this life, Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was born March 27, 1950 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Lilburn and Geraldine (Wells) Fisher. Georgeann graduated in 1969. For the past 15 years, Georgeann worked as a CNA at Unity Heath – Harris Medical Center in Newport, Arkansas. She loved shopping. Georgeann’s hobbies included cooking, gardening, working with flowers and rose bushes, camping, fishing, and cooking. She made the best biscuits ever. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children and grandchildren. Georgeann is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Adrian Mears; two daughters, Christina Marie Cleaver and Michele Irene Robertson; one granddaughter, Kaydince Handy; two brothers, Johnny Stonie and Wilburn Fisher; and her parents, Lilburn and Geraldine (Wells) Fisher. Left to cherish Georgeann’s memory are her children, Jamie Fisher Starnes and husband Dale of Edna, Texas, Cynthia Farmer of Little Rock, Amanda Cleaver of Diaz, Jimmie Cleaver of Searcy, and Christopher Cleaver and wife Taylor of Searcy; two brothers, Walter James Fisher of Kingman, Arizona, and Jessie Fisher of Indiana; fourteen grandchildren, Deric Rogers, Jessicka Zick, Shannon Zick, Victoria Zick, Samantha Starnes, Nakiah Robertson, Ayden Veals-Cleaver, Memori Cleaver, TyAirah Cleaver, Keydon Handy, Adijah Veals, Adarius Veals, Aubrey Cleaver, and Kaeli Brooke; one soon to be granddaughter, Adalynn Elizabeth Ann Cleaver; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Victor Cleaver, Jimmie Cleaver, Christopher Cleaver, Colton Cooper, Corliece Sanders, and Kevin Cleaver. Honorary pallbearer is Bobby Robertson. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 6-8 pm at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home with Bro.
