Floy Etta Goad

July 21, 1942 - March 22, 2020

Floy Etta Huffman Goad, 77, of Bradford went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, March 22, 2020. She was born July 21, 1942 in Dardanelle, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Ray and Elizabeth Bolin Huffman. She married Buck Goad on March 28, 1959. They were married 38 years. Floy was a member of Bradford Baptist Church. She was a great example of being the hands and feet of Jesus. Floy was employed at Wal-Mart Distribution Center 6003 for thirty years. Prior to that she was employed at Bill’s IGA. She was also a farmer’s wife and homemaker. She loved to garden, cook, and be a Godly example to her children and grandchildren. Floy loved Facebook and being able to watch her family and friends and share her walk with the Lord. She is survived by her two daughters, Leveta Goad Whitener McCall and husband Scott, and Elizabeth Goad Johnston and husband Doug; daughter in law, Melissa Goad; sisters, Corinne Linam and Husband Joe, Judy Ellis Daniels, Jean Ellis Twiggs and husband Robert, and Jan Huffman Anderson and husband Todd; grandchildren, Amber Baird, Jeremiah Johnston and fiancé Stephanie Cartone, Joseph Whitener, Carlina Davis, Tyler Roberts, Cory Roberts and wife Kasey, Nathan and Tabatha McCall, Benjamin and Cristin McCall Ramey, and Les and Rachel McCall; great grandchildren, Jacob Baird, Anthony Baird, Lizzie Baird, Emma Harvey, Maddison Lee Whitener, Christian Davis, Dylan Davis, Carter Dallas Roberts, Sophie Neal, Audrey McCall, Brayden McCall, Freya McCall, Torin McCall, Contessa McCall, Arlen McCall, Benjamin and Rosalie Ramey; great-great grandchildren, Liam Kimberling, Audrey Bundy, and Bella Kimberling; and several nieces and nephews and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Thomas Sr. and Ola Bolin; parents, Ray and Elizabeth Huffman and Marie Ellis Huffman; son, Dallas Ray Goad; brothers, Thomas Ray Huffman and Jim Ellis; sisters, Billie Ruth Wells and Karen Huffman Batts; uncle and aunt, Thomas and Hattie Bolin; and niece, Beth Linam Good. A graveside funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, March 27 at Heard Cemetery. The services will be broadcast on Facebook Live on the Bradford Missionary Baptist Church Facebook page.
