Our History

Bradford Memorial Funeral Home was established and opened December 2013 by Cynthia Medlock.  Cynthia has worked hard to build a successful, dependable, trustworthy establishment and equip the Funeral Home with a staff that reflects her values.  The over all goal and desire of all of us at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home is to offer families in their darkest hours a sense of peace, comfort, and some direction to make it through the loss of their loved one.  We strive to provide dependable, respectful funeral and cremation services at an affordable price without losing any value.  

Our Valued Staff

J. Tyler Hyatt

J. Tyler Hyatt, Owner/Funeral Director/Embalmer

Tyler is the Owner and President of Hyatt Funeral Services, Inc (dba, Powell Funeral Homes and Bradford Memorial Funeral Home). He has been a licensed funeral director/embalmer since 1993 and has been a resident of Bald Knob since 1994. He and his family have been very active in the communities of White and Woodruff Counties and has had the honor of serving thousands of families during that time. Tyler has served as the President of the Arkansas Funeral Directors Association, Bald Knob Chamber of Commerce Board member and Past President, Chairman of the L.J. Steward/Shady Grove Cemetery Board and has been a member of Rotary and Lions Clubs. He and his wife Jada are the parents of 6 children and 3 beautiful granddaughters. In his free time, Tyler enjoys hunting and fishing, cooking, yard work and spending time with his family.

Jada Brooks-Hyatt

Jada Brooks-Hyatt, Owner

Jada is owner of Hyatt Funeral Services, Inc. (dba, Powell Funeral Homes and Bradford Memorial Funeral Home) She and her husband Tyler have 6 children and 3 beautiful granddaughters. Jada assists in the day to day management of their 4 funeral home locations in White and Woodruff Counties. She finds it an honoring helping grieving families. Jada is a "people person." She is a lifelong resident of Bald Knob and enjoys spending time with family, fishing and being on the water.

Cynthia Juanita Medlock

Cynthia Juanita Medlock, Former Owner/Funeral Directorr

Cynthia is the former owner and founder of Bradford Memorial Funeral Home. She and her husband JC are outstanding and involved members of the Bradford community and are supportive of local businesses, schools, and churches. From the age of 15, Cynthia has been a resident of Bradford and in 2003 she married JC Medlock. Cynthia and JC owned and operated Bradford Memorial Funeral Home and still own and operate J&J Transport Trucking Company and Bradford Feed and Supply Hardware Store. She is a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford and enjoys flower gardening, shopping, spending time with her kids, and hanging out with her friends. Most of all she likes helping people. She will still be heavily involved in the funeral home and assisting the families who place their trust in Bradford Memorial. She and JC have five children; Jason, Ashley, Micheal, Makiyla, and John.

Deanna Ybanez

Deanna Ybanez, Funeral Director

Dee is a McCrory native who currently lives in Bradford with her husband Willie and three children Gauge, Dylan, and Danny. She is a 1991 graduate of McCrory High School. She attended technical school in Newport with a degree in accounting. She enjoys yard saling, "junking", and is a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Bradford.

Jan Bailey

Jan Bailey, Funeral Director/Preneed Specialist

Jan has been involved in preneed and prearrangement work for many years.
In July of 2019, Jan became licensed in the state of Arkansas as a Funeral Director. Jan lives in Newport and is married to Larry Bailey. She has 5 children, 14 grandchildren, and 7&1/2 great-grandchildren(One due in July). She received a BA in Business Management from ASU. Jan is very involved at Jesus is Lord Worship Center in Jacksonport where she serves as a Sunday School teacher for the adults, President of the Ladies Ministry and Tuesday night Bible Study. She enjoys cooking for her family, being a part of church pot luck meals, fishing, reading, and making silk flower arrangements. Jan loves being able to serve people in their time of need.
